The Research Assistant will work in conjunction with the any of the
following: The Clinical Trials Network (CTN), Universities or
Pharmaceutical Companies on studies focused on opioid use disorder and
medications for addiction.
Flexibility to work occasional evening hours is required.

Duties & Responsibilities
- The Research Assistant recruits, screens and interviews study participants.
- Schedules, confirms and completes follow-up assessments.
- Manages research data and collaborates with other study staff in
related duties.
- The Research Assistant assists with receiving study supplies,
documenting receipt of supplies and storing.
- Is responsible for updating certifications and training as needed.
- Responsible for collecting urine screens from participants.
- Will assist with packing and shipping research materials and
biological samples.
- Responsible for QA of data.
- The Research Assistant develops clinical and research skills in a
collaborative, supportive environment.
- Participates in study trainings, protocol meetings and/or
conference calls as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- BA or BS in psychology/related field or related experience required.
- Flexibility to work occasional evening hours is required.
- Previous research experience is preferable, but not required.
- Knowledge of clinical research procedures and experience
conducting diagnostic interviews is preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Motivated and able to work independently.
- Moderate computer skills and the ability to work using multiple
programs and online databases. Some training is provided.
- Cultural sensitivity and comfort with a wide range of social,
racial, and ethnic populations.
HOURLY WAGE RANGE: $20-22/hour
