The Manager of Quality supports the day-to-day
coordination and execution of the organization’s Quality Improvement
activities. Working under the guidance of the Director of Compliance
& Risk, the Manager of Quality collects data, tracks incidents,
investigates and resolves patient complaints, assists in survey
readiness, and oversees quality reporting to help ensure safe,
effective, and compliant care delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities
- The Manager of Quality creates and implements the organization’s
Quality Improvement Plan
- Supports the implementation and maintenance of Quality Improvement
projects and activities across the organization.
- Facilitates internal Quality Improvement Committee and other groups
- Collects, organizes, and maintains quality and performance data in
accordance with organizational standards.
- The Manager of Quality assists with tracking Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs), performance improvement initiatives, and
corrective action plans.
- Helps identify trends or areas of concern and escalates findings
to the Director or appropriate leadership.
- Reviews incident and event reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Tracks adverse events, near misses, and quality concerns and
ensures timely follow-up.
- Assists with investigations and root cause analyses under the
direction of the Director.
- The Manager of Quality supports the intake, tracking, and
documentation of patient complaints and grievances.
- Drafts complaint response materials for leadership review.
- Assists with preparation activities for regulatory surveys,
audits, licensing reviews, and accreditation visits.
- Participates in mock audits, chart reviews, and document reviews
as assigned.
- Supports survey coordination efforts during active surveys.
- Assists with the review, updating, and organization of policies
and procedures related to quality and performance improvement.
- The Manager of Quality tracks policy review schedules and ensures
documentation is current and accessible.
- Assists with quality-related data entry, extraction, and reporting
from the EHR and other data systems.
- Prepares routine reports, summaries, and dashboards for leadership review.
- Supports staff education related to quality reporting processes,
documentation expectations, and performance improvement activities.
- Maintains Quality Improvement Education calendar with education
sessions offered to staff
- The Manager of Quality works collaboratively with program teams to
support quality initiatives and data collection.
- Assists with quality-related grant documentation or reporting as requested.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Healthcare Administration,
Statistical Analysis, Quality Management, or related field required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in healthcare quality,
compliance, risk, or data-related roles preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare quality concepts and regulatory environments.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines in a
regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and computer skills.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks adapting
to shifts in priorities.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $70,000-95,000
