Residential Program Shift Lead (Part-Time)

SSTARBIRTH Program – Cranston, RI

SSTARBIRTH is a long-term residential substance use disorder treatment program designed for pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women. Our program provides a safe, supportive environment that promotes recovery, stability, and healthy family development.

We are seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Residential Program Shift Lead. This role is ideal for candidates who are committed to supporting women and families on their recovery journey.

Schedule

  • 8–16 hours per week
  • Must include weekend availability

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and support the daily program schedule and structured activities
  • Supervise and engage with residents and their children in a trauma-informed, respectful manner
  • Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of residents and children at all times
  • Monitor and document client self-administration of medications in accordance with program protocols
  • Complete accurate and timely shift documentation and reports
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while fostering a supportive environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in human services preferred
  • Experience working with individuals in recovery, women, or families strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics

Experience and Skills:

Skills/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Crisis prevention and intervention skills preferred.
  • Prior experience working in Residential Treatment and/or knowledge of early recovery related issues is preferred.  

HOURLY WAGE RANGE: $16/HOUR
