Job Description:

SSTAR has been involved in pharmaceutical research studies, which has allowed us to be on the forefront of revolutionary drug treatment options. We are hiring a Research Coorindator for these studies. Full Time.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide over-site for all areas of protocol implementation

2. Serves as a liaison with Node and CTN leadership

3. Assists in recruiting, screening, and consenting of subjects, and responsible for training and supervising RAs as

they conduct these and all other assessments of the protocol.

4. Act as the supervisor of the research assistants and any other non-medical staff members

5. Coordination of patient flow, scheduling of follow up appointments and the day-to-day issues that arise.

6. Coordinate with the medical clinician for assistance with any medical concerns, AEs and SAEs .

7. Assist in, or submit, all SAE reports; making sure PI is aware of SAE

8. Maintain all IRB requested forms and supervise the ongoing development of the regulatory binders

9. Responsible for QA checks on all local source documents.

10. Responsible for closing, or supervising the closure of, all data queries and missed form reports

11. Coordinates with all CRAs (local and national) to plan and execute all monitoring visits

12. Responsible for addressing all action items reported by monitoring visits

13. Request or acquire equipment, petty cash and supplies necessary for the project

14. Manage and respond to project related emails

15. Participate in protocol trainings, research meetings, and/or conference calls as needed.

16. Prepare progress reports as required by funding agency

17. All other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree, bachelor’s preferred
  • Research experience preferred
  • Ability to engage clients from a variety of backgrounds
  • Ability to work well with coworkers and superiors
  • Detail oriented
