The Staff Accountant performs routine financial and accounting tasks for the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly closing activities, including analysis of accounts and preparation of journal entries.
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations and complete analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure the accuracy and validity of transactions.
  • Contribute to the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with the operations of Accounts Payable.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for accounts ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, report, and disseminate data.
