Job Description:

Certified Community Behavioral Health Grant

The Project Director will be responsible for implementing a new SAMHSA-funded initiative that will lead to SSTAR meeting all the criteria for Certification as a community behavioral health program (CCBHC). The Project Director will recruit and supervise staff, manage budget and grant reporting, serve as liaison with internal and external programs, and work with project Evaluator to ensure compliance with SAMHSA evaluation requirements.


Among the project objectives are:


  • Providing Medication Assisted Treatment, integrated behavioral health treatment for co-occurring disorders, integrated primary care and behavioral health
  • Implementing a co-occurring partial hospital program that integrates buprenorphine, Vivitrol, and primary care services
  • Providing evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, youth-guided, and family or caregiver driven services to children and adolescents
  • Providing services to families with children using the AF-CBT model
  • Providing family peer recovery services and ARISE model of Family Intervention and Continuing Care based on Transitional Family Therapy
  • Integrated behavioral health and primary care
  • Ensuring that the principals of trauma-Informed care are incorporated throughout the organization’s treatment continuum
  • Introducing Dialectical Behavioral Treatment for co-occurring disorders




Experience and Skills:

LICSW, LMFT, LMHC or similar Master level independent clinical licensure

A minimum of 10 years clinical experience with significant expertise working with an addicted population.

Significant experience with successful program development and staff supervision.

Expertise in family systems work, child trauma treatment, and/or Dialectical Behavioral Treatment preferred.
